Features Added in V8
The following features were added in version 8 of PDF-XChange Editor:

•Commands that convert line annotations to distance annotations, and polyline annotations to perimeter annotations. These commands are detailed here and here respectively.
•A new cropping method that enables the adjustment of the page size to the size of the crop box without changing the existing crop boxes. This feature is detailed here.
•The Move to Trash feature, which moves open documents to the Windows recycle bin. This feature is detailed here.
•Simplified content transformation functionality added to the Arrange tab, as detailed here.
•The CSVToPDF plugin, which enables the conversion of CSV file data to PDF tables.

•Functionality that enables the creation/modification of 'Document Open' actions to be different from 'GoTo' actions, as detailed here.

•The Enhanced OCR module - an optional extra in PDF-XChange Editor that is much faster, provides better quality, recognizes text styles and tables, supports creating PDF files with editable text and images, and more. This feature is detailed here and you can read more about it here.
•The "OCR Selected Region" feature, which makes it possible to perform optical character recognition on sections of documents selected via the Snapshot or Crop tools, as detailed here.
•New SharePoint features that enable the specification of a default version and comment used during automatic check-in, and an option to auto-create the necessary folders when saving files to non-existing paths.
