Policy Name:

Allow User to Check for Updates for the application

Requirements:

PDF-Tools v6.0.318 or later.

Description:

Specifies whether or not users are allowed to check for updates to the application.

Reg Key Location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Tracker Software\PDFXTools\6.0\Update

Reg Key Name:

b.AllowCheck

Registry Key Type:

REG_DWORD

Available Values:

“1” – enabled, “0” – disabled

 

Please note that the PDF-Tools Administrative Template policy detailed here may override this policy. If there is a conflict between update policies then the policy that disables updates will be given priority. For example, if updates are enabled in the PDF-Tools policy but disabled in the Tracker Updater policy, then updates will not be enabled. Or, if updates are enabled in the Tracker Updater policy but disabled in the PDF-Tools policy, then updates will not be enabled in PDF-Tools.
