Customization
PDF-Tools is highly customizable product that contains a range of adjustable settings and functionality that enables the customization and creation of PDF-related tools. It is often useful for users to be able to share their settings and customized tools with each other. There are three methods that can be used for this purpose:
All the settings available in the PDF-Tools "Preferences" can be exported to and imported from a file, and these settings can be applied either through the PDF-Tools GUI or silently via the command line, as detailed here.
Custom tools can also be exported to and imported from a file, using either the PDF-Tools GUI or via the command line.
It is also possible to use an Active Directory Group Policy via the PDF-Tools administrative template to import settings/custom tools.
