Updating
The best way to update PDF-XChange Printer Standard is to use the PDF-XChange Updater, as detailed here.
It is also possible to check for updates via the printing preferences of PDF-XChange Printer Standard. The Check for Updates option is available in the Help dropdown menu of the About tab:

However, this method simply calls the PDF-XChange Updater and initiates an identical process to that detailed at the link above.
